Like a lot of people I found myself unhappy with the work
I was doing. I knew that a change was in order. I loved
the idea of working with animals but in what capacity? While
exploring my options, I started working at a veterinary clinic.
Several months later I was asked to pet sit for a client's dog.
That referral lead to another one and before long I found
myself with a steady number of regular clients. Within about
a year and a half it came time to decide between pet sitting
part-time or going out on my own as a full-time pet sitter.
Precious Paws was established in November, 1997.
In March 2006, the business name was changed to
Blonde Dog Pet Sitting.
I provide all the services myself. I enjoy building
relationships with my clients as well as with their pets. Your pets
essentially become a part of my extended pet family.
As for my own family: I am so honored to share my home and
life with my cat Murphy and my dog, Katie (the blonde dog).
We said goodbye to Jake in August, 2009. He is
greatly missed!
